To raise funds for the ongoing relief efforts in Japan, Dr. Hisao Ishigaki, the leading authority on tenkara in Japan, has offered two authentic and very rare bamboo Tenkara rods from his personal collection. Daniel Galhardo of TenkaraUSA who has a very personal relationship with Dr. Ishigaki has just listed them on Ebay.
These are the first and only real bamboo Tenkara rods to have ever become available in the US.
